Center For Discovery provides outpatient and residential treatment
ANGELS, December 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Discovery Behavioral Health, Inc., a growing network of evidence-based mental health, addiction and eating disorder treatment centers, has opened a new 48-bed facility in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. Located in a seven-story skyscraper, the facility will offer adult programming under the Center For Discovery brand (https://centerfordiscovery.com/locations/milwaukee-wi/).

Staffed by healthcare professionals and support staff, the center offers outpatient and residential care, and is conveniently located within walking distance or a short bus ride from major higher education schools, including Marquette University, University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, Milwaukee School of Engineering and Milwaukee Area Technical College. Facilities include group meeting and individual treatment rooms, cafe seating for meals, and a full-size commercial kitchen.
The center will be led by an experienced behavioral health executive Amanda Vogt, CEO, who previously worked for 22 years at Rogers Behavioral Health. She received her bachelor’s degree from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukeeand her master’s degree in social work from Aurora University. “Eating disorders are a specific type of behavioral health disorder that requires specialized clinical interventions. Today, as we continue to meet the mental health demand that has grown steadily since the pandemic, we are committed to being good partners in the community by building relationships with patients and their families as well than with other health professionals.
