Gift wrapping party at Dover Library
DOVER – On Monday, December 5 at 6:30 p.m., Dover Public Library will host a gift-wrapping party. Paper, tape, scissors and ribbons will be provided. Just bring your gifts ready to be wrapped in your own boxes. We will be playing holiday music to enhance the mood. There is no registration for this walk-in event.
Weekly genealogy group to meet
DOVER – On Tuesday, December 6 at 6:30 p.m., the genealogy group will meet at the Dover Public Library. Whether you’re new to genealogy research or a seasoned professional, this group is a great way to meet other like-minded people, provide guidance in your research, and hear your newly discovered family stories. The group is open to the public and not limited to Dover residents or library card holders.
Virtual chat with author and LGBTQ+ historian
DOVER — There will be a Zoom chat with award-winning author and LGBTQ+ historian Eric Cervini on Wednesday, December 7 at 7 p.m. at the Dover Public Library. Cervini will discuss his book “The Deviant’s War: The Homosexual vs. the United States of America”.

Nutrition Luncheon
BERWICK, Maine – Berwick For a Lifetime will present a special health and wellness program in conjunction with Wentworth Douglass Hospital, “Lunch and Learn – Hydration and the Importance of Fiber” on Wednesday, December 7 at the Berwick Public Library . NEWMARKET — The Newmarket Public Library will present a Toddler Winter Dance Party featuring musician and performer Mr. Aaron on Wednesday, December 7 at 10:30 a.m. This event is free to the public and requires registration. Mental Health Summit in Dover
DOVER — The second annual Mental Health, Wellbeing and Workplace Recovery Summit, underwritten by Kennebunk Savings and sponsored by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Granite United Way, will take place on Thursday, Dec. 8 in the cafeteria of the McConnell Center in Dover from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
The summit is presented by the Seacoast Chamber Alliance, the Dover Mental Health Alliance and the Recovery Friendly Workplace Initiative. Registration is $10 for chamber members and $15 for non-members. To register, visit dovernh.org/wellnesssummit.
