HENRY FORD HEALTH APPOINTS NEW PRESIDENT OF HENRY FORD JACKSON HOSPITAL

JACKSON, Mich., December 2, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Henry Ford Health System announced the name of the new President of Henry Ford Jackson Hospital in Jackson, MI. Emilie Moorhead, ANGER, has accepted the key post, effective immediately. Moorhead has served as interim president since February 2022and prior to that, his role was Chief Operating Officer.

Moorhead will lead the Henry Ford Jackson Campus in conjunction with the leadership team and oversee hospital planning and operations. She will continue to focus on providing a safe, high quality environment while emphasizing the engagement of patients, team members and physicians.

A seasoned executive leader, Moorhead brings over 15 years of experience to the role. Prior to joining Henry Ford Health, she held leadership positions in hospital operations and health system strategy at Tenet and Trinity Health.

She is an active volunteer for Junior Achievement and Detroit Rescue Mission and has received the Health Leaders Fellowship Award for Civic Engagement with local, state and national public policy experts. Moorhead also graduated from the Carol Emmott Fellowship in 2022, a non-profit organization committed to promoting gender equity in healthcare leadership.
