We’ve Got Personality: An Interview with Rebel

We’ve Got Personality: An Interview with Rebel

Thanks for stopping by for the new latest and greatest: “We’ve Got Personality” Ding ding ding!!! It is time for another round of “We’ve Got Personality” with your host, Jade. Meet Rebel Today’s star is Rebel, fondly called Belle by her family members. This Belle is no ding dong, despite what her nickname may suggest. Belle is a special needs girl, with an extreme case of anxiety. She is my newest cousin. While she gets along with my cousins, I am uncertain as to whether she will like me. It took much persuading by her other sisters to get her to want to bark up a conversation with me. Thankfully, here she is- ready to share her story with the world. We’ve Got Personality The Interview Jade: Hi Belle, I can’t wait to meet you in person. In the meanwhile, this Skype session will have to do. What’s your story? Belle: *Thinking* Thinking The last that I remember, where I was born there were twenty + dogs on the property. Some were allowed in the house and some weren’t, and I was one of the outside dogs. The family was struggling to care for all of us, and gave my sister and me up to the humane society for adoption. *Thinking* *Stares at Jade on the screen.* Jade: Hmmm… it seems like Belle is just panting. Maybe another question will be better. You were adopted into a wonderful family. What did you think when you were able to go home with them? Belle: *Gives Jade award winning smile* *Thinking* Thinking *Thinking***I was extremely scared of walking on a leash,...
We’ve Got Personality: An Interview with Macy

We’ve Got Personality: An Interview with Macy

Barks of greetings from your favorite (and only) Travel Animal Doctor blog interview series host of: “We’ve Got Personality”. Meet Jade I am Jade, a rescued lab mix, native to Alabama. I love to travel, and since I was adopted I have been to Tennessee, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Virginia. My grandma and grandpa are also avid travelers. They adopted my cousins from Ohio, Tennessee, and Georgia. Meet the Instigator One cousin, who is a born and bred terrier/corgi mix from Tennessee, showed my grandparents how to live the good life in their new abode. The last time I caught up with Macy, she was barking at a groundhog and causing the pack to go bark-wild. As soon as her sisters ran to her side and began telling the groundhog what was up, Macy returned to her comfortable couch and watched as her mom yelled at the others to stop, proud of the hysteria she had caused. Macy, the infamous instigator of her pack, is excited to chat with me today, and create yet another prideful and spectacular buzz. We’ve Got Personality The Interview Jade: Hi Macy. Welcome to, “We’ve Got Personality”. That groundhog still bugging you? Macy: It is still out there, getting bigger everyday! It is staying out of our yard though, so I consider my daily task at backyard security a job well done. Jade: Man, I bet your family is happy that you are there to keep them out of danger. Macy: It is a hard job, but someone has to do it. Where I come from, a groundhog might as well be considered a...
An Interview with Sweet Pea – Travel Animal Doctor

An Interview with Sweet Pea – Travel Animal Doctor

Welcome to another We’ve Got Personality interview here at Travel Animal Doctor. This is your host at Travel Animal Doctor, Jade, ready to talk dog on this special “We’ve Got Personality: Sweet Pea Edition”. I have been missing my mother dearly, and cannot wait for her to come home so we can go on another hike. Mom is making her way to the annual BlogPaws Conference in Nashville, TN. During my last Skype session with Mom and Sweet Pea, I was able to interview Sweet Pea to find out the latest and greatest happenings in my cousin’s life. Sweet Pea is a Chinese Crested/Yorkie mix, lovingly referred to by my mother as a Chinese Cryorkie. This little Yorkie is extremely Quirky, just as her “designer” breed name suggests. Good morning Sweet Pea! You’re looking chipper today. What’s up dog? A really good looking smoothie, but I am just too short to get to it. Yum. A smoothie does sound awfully scrumptious. Maybe puppy dog eyes will work. One can only hope. I will give it a try. After all, the story is, that is how I won over my mother’s heart. This sounds like the beginning of a good story. A story I will never forget. I came from a rescue group from NW Ohio, who saved puppies from puppy mills. I had a foster family who loved me to death, but knew good pet parents when they saw them. My mom and dad picked me up on a snowy February afternoon and took me to their house where I met Jasmine and Bayer. They were HUGE! That sounds...
An Interview with Jasmine – Travel Animal Doctor

An Interview with Jasmine – Travel Animal Doctor

Good morning! Today Jade has a special guest who she is eager to interview. – Travel Animal Doctor First she wants you to know a little bit about herself. I am a rescue from my mother’s veterinary school. Honestly, I feel like I did the rescuing. My mom and dad would be completely bored without a dog like me to spice up their life. If given the choice of picking three strong personality attributes for myself, I would go with easy going, eager to please, and excited. I am ready to go anywhere my pet parents want to take me, and listen very well (most of the time)! I used to be afraid of the car when I was first saved, but now I am ecstatic when I get to go on car rides. We always go to fun and exciting places, like the dog park, the doggie spa, hikes, and sometimes even my adopted cousins’ house. Speaking of my cousins, one of them is here with me today! I wanted to interview Jasmine, a “designer” dog adopted from a humane society in Northwest Ohio. If you like wrestling, do not let the short stature of this Bassador fool you. Her sturdy Basset hound frame and her labrador energy are truly a force to be reckoned with. Hi Jasmine, how are you today? Great, thanks for asking. This spot, in the middle of the bedroom floor, is the most comfortable place to lay in the entire house. I bet, it looks absolutely terrific. Where are you from? I was rescued by my pet mom from a humane society animal shelter in NW Ohio....
