This peach custard kuchen dessert is fit for the sweet tooth of a queen. A matriarch of any household would enjoy the sweetness of this peach custard kuchen. However not every queen should be invited to attend this luxurious feast. While female cats are more than welcome to have their after dinner treats, this peach custard kuchen recipe is unnatural to the diet of our feline queens and their families.  Peaches are not poisonous in general (besides the cyanide containing peach pits), but they can upset the bowels of cats. To avoid the smell of cat diarrhea in the household, leave this recipe for the human side of the family only. This peach custard kuchen is quick and easy to prepare for the king in your life. Preheat Oven: 400 degrees Fahrenheit Ingredients: 2 medium peaches (1 1/2 c. peaches sliced) 1 c. all purpose flour 2 TBS  coconut sugar 1/4 c. vegan shortening (or soft butter) 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. baking powder 1/4 c. + 2 TBS coconut sugar 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 2 egg yolks 1 c. whipping cream This peach custard kuchen is naturally sweet and ready to eat. Directions: Mix flour, 2 TBS sugar, the salt and baking powder. Cut in margarine until mixture is crumbly. Pat mixture firmly in bottom and halfway up sides of ungreased square pan, 8x8x2 inches. Arrange peaches in pan. Mix 1/4 c. + 2 TBS sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over peaches. Bake 15 minutes. Mix egg yolks and whipping cream; pour over peaches. For a new green to sink your teeth into, try this cranberry brussels sprout salad. Serves: 8 people Ingredients: 28 brussels sprouts (Remove bad leaves and soak/rinse) 1 c. pecan 1/2 c. parmesan cheese (finely grated) 1/4 c. cranberries (raisins) salt and pepper 3 TBS apple cider vinegar 9 TBS flaxseed oil 2 tsp. dijon mustard Prepare the brussels sprout salad with home grown brussels sprouts, or buy the brussels sprouts pre-shredded at the nearest whole foods market. Directions: Shred sprouts with food processor or mandelin. Shred or grate parmesan cheese. Toast walnut or pecans. (7 to 8 minutes with flaxseed oil on stovetop) Mix apple cider vinegar, flaxseed oil and mustard with salt and pepper thoroughly as a dressing. Put sprout shreds, parmesan cheese, cranberries (or cranberry raisins), and pecan/walnut in a salad bowl. Mix your cranberry brussels sprout salad well. Add dressing, mix well, and serve! Satisfy your significant other’s sweet tooth with this dulce potato candy.  The typical kitchen ingredients are often found in kitchen cupboards, allowing the chef to make this last minute oftentimes without having to make a run to the grocery store. Ingredients: 1/4 c. mashed potato 2 TBS almond milk 16 oz. powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/3 c. peanut butter 1 pinch salt 1 TBS powdered sugar (for dusting) Directions: Combine potatoes, vanilla, almond milk and salt in a bowl and stir until mixed completely. Stir sugar into potato mixture, until dough is slightly firm. Refrigerate dough for around an hour to chill. Sprinkle a thin layer of powdered sugar on wax paper and roll out the dough. Spread thin layer of peanut butter on top of the rolled out potato candy dough. Roll the dough like you would tortilla wraps to shape pinwheels, and refrigerate to chill for another hour.
