  This spooktacular boo-berry smoothie was the perfect quick and healthy breakfast for my husband and I on Saturday, to kick off our Halloween festivities. Following breakfast he and I got in the car and drove to Hollin Farms to pick our own pumpkin, apples and veggies. The farm was bustling with fellow Halloween lovers who had the same idea. Among the Halloween lovers were many dog lovers who brought their pets with them on their quests to pick the perfect pumpkins. Knowing that our dog, Jade, is allowed, we are eager to bring her with us to pick pumpkins next year. We spent three hours picking pumpkins from the pumpkin patch, apples from the apple orchards, and vegetables from the garden. I thank the boost of energy from the spooktacular boo-berry smoothie to get us through the event-filled day.
